WatchMen

An adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' 1986 comic book limited series Watchmen. The film stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matthew Goode, Stephen McHattie and Carla Gugino. Set in 1985, the film follows a group of former vigilantes as war begins to break out between the United States and the Soviet Union. The film began shooting in Vancouver in September 2007 for release on March 6, 2009. Like his previous film 300, Director Zack Snyder closely modeled his storyboards on the comic, but unlike 300, he chose not to shoot all of Watchmen using chroma key.

The story is set in an alternate 1985 where superheroes exist, Richard Nixon is still president, and tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union are at an all-time high. The vigilante Rorschach is investigating the murder of a former hero, the Comedian, and uncovers a plot to discredit and murder various heroes. Rorschach discovers a far wider-ranging conspiracy involving his colleagues' past which could completely change the course of history.

Top Chef: Season Four

Top Chef: Season Four
Top Chef is an American reality competition show that airs on the cable television network Bravo.Chefs compete against each other in weekly challenges. They are judged by a panel of professional chefs and other notables from the foodies and wine industry with one or more contestants eliminated each week. Produced by Magical Elves Productions, the same company that created Project Runway.

On it's 4th season of American reality television series Top Chef was filmed in Chicago in the second half of 2007 and first aired on March 12, 2008 on Bravo Each episode includes two challenges.

The Quickfire Challenge is a short, simple challenge with a varying reward each week; in the initial episodes of the season, it usually guarantees the winner immunity from being sent home that week. The Elimination Challenge is a more complex challenge that determines who goes home. One or more guest judges join the show each week to evaluate both the Quickfire and Elimination challenges. Each week's elimination is announced in a segment called "Judges' Table."

Prison Break Season 4

Prison Break Season 4The fourth season of Prison Break premiered on September 1, 2008 will see the return of Sara Tancredi. The plot continues three weeks from the third season finale, where Michael drives off into the horizon to avenge the apparent death of Sara.

It also got a new character and it was already announced. One character will work with Michael and Lincoln while the other will work against them. Soon after, it was announced the Michael Rappaport will be joining the show as a series regular. Recently, the show announced the addition of a third character. E! Online dished out the details, saying, "The new season of Prison Break is back Aug. 25, and they're introducing a new nerdy hacker character named Roland Glenn to join the boys for at least six episodes to help them fight the Company. He's a talker, this one, and his big fat mouth is going to get him into trouble."

6. Kung Fu Panda - $212.6 million

Kung Fu PandaPo (Jack Black) is a panda who works in a noodle restaurant owned by his goose father Mr. Ping (James Hong), who hopes that Po will one day take over the restaurant. Po is a kung fu fanatic with secret dreams of becoming a great master in the discipline. However, his weight and clumsiness make his goal difficult to attain.

Kung Fu Panda is a 2008 animated film about a bungling panda who aspires to be a kung fu warrior. Kung Fu Panda is directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne and produced by Melissa Cobb. Although the concept of a kung fu panda has been around since at least 1993, the idea for the film was conceived by Michael Lachance, a DreamWorks Animation executive. Work on the film did not begin until 2004 with the film premiering at the 61st Cannes Film Festival in May 2008 and seeing general distribution in the summer.

2008 computer-animated science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The film was directed by Andrew Stanton. It follows the story of a robot named WALL-E who is designed to clean up a polluted Earth. He eventually falls in love with another robot named EVE, and follows her into outer space on an adventure.

4. Hancock -
$226.3 million

HancockIt tells the story of a vigilante superhero, John Hancock (Smith), from Los Angeles whose reckless actions routinely cost the city millions of dollars. Eventually one person he saves, Ray Embrey (Bateman), makes it his mission to change Hancock's public image for the better.

Hancock is a 2008 superhero film directed by Peter Berg and starring Will Smith, Jason Bateman, and Charlize Theron. The story was originally written by Vincent Ngo in 1996. It languished in development hell for years and had various directors attached, including Tony Scott, Michael Mann, Jonathan Mostow, and Gabriele Muccino before going into production in 2007. Hancock was filmed in Los Angeles with a production budget of $150 million.

A 2008 adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and executive produced and co-written by George Lucas. The film pits Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) against agents of the Soviet Union, led by Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett), in the search for a crystal skull. Indy is aided by his former lover Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen), the greaser Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf), and fellow adventurer George "Mac" McHale (Ray Winstone). John Hurt and Jim Broadbent also play fellow academics.

The film was in development since the 1989 release of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, because Spielberg and Ford disagreed over Lucas' original concept. Screenwriters Jeb Stuart, Jeffrey Boam, Frank Darabont and Jeff Nathanson wrote drafts, before David Koepp's script satisfied all three men. Shooting began on June 18, 2007, and took place in New Mexico; New Haven, Connecticut; Hawaii; Fresno, California; and soundstages in Los Angeles. To keep aesthetic continuity with the previous films, the crew relied on traditional stunt work instead of computer-generated stunt doubles, and cinematographer Janusz KamiƄski studied Douglas Slocombe's style from the previous films.

He uses his new suit to return to Afghanistan to destroy the arms and then to stop Stane from misusing his research.
